Cats with no hair are the result of a genetic mutation, and this breed was developed through selective breeding.

The Sphynx cat loves to curl up in its owner’s lap and is known for being extremely affectionate. In addition, they are very friendly and often referred to as Velcro cats because they stick to their humans. This breed is also intelligent and curious and often serves as the household welcome committee when guests arrive.

#2 Abyssinian

Irzhanova Asel / Shutterstock.com

            Breed Overview

                        Origin:

                            ?

Where this breed was first established.

                Abyssinia (Ethiopia)

                        Height:

                            ?

The typical adult height among individuals of this breed. These cats are instantly recognizable thanks to their long, slender bodies, almond-shaped eyes, and very large, upright ears that give them a refined, alert look. Depending on genetics, a Peterbald may be completely hairless, velvety, or sport a very short, fine coat.

Peterbalds are affectionate and people-focused cats who love being part of family activities. They enjoy perching on shoulders, following their humans from room to room, and chatting in soft, musical voices. This intelligent breed is playful, social, and easy to train — making them an ideal choice for families who want an interactive, big-eared companion.

Final Thoughts

Cat with big ears are adorable even if they tend to possess a more wild appearance and temperament.
